Hello Raymore Families........
We are looking forward to an exciting Field Day tomorrow! Unfortunately, it is looking like the weather may not cooperate with us. Due to the upcoming forecast, we have made the decision to follow our indoor field day schedule for tomorrow's activities. The morning schedule will be 8:50-12:50 pm and the afternoon schedule will be 11:45-3:45 pm (the overlap is so that parents coming in the morning as well as those coming in the afternoon can enjoy lunch with their child).
The following classes are on the A.M. Schedule: Kindergarten, first grade, and Mrs. Adkins, and Mrs. Copeland. Parents of those students should plan to arrive at 8:50 am and dismiss home at 12:50 pm. We do encourage you to leave your child at school so they can enjoy a special time with just their class family.
The P.M. Schedule will begin after lunch at 12:50 and will include the following classes: Mrs. Doerhoff, Ms. Mason, third grade and fourth grade. Parents of these students should plan to arrive at 11:45-3:45 pm.
We will need your help running each station as you travel around with your students (NOTE: this is different from the full day outdoor schedule where you would have been in charge of one station). When your child is not participating in the indoor day field day events, we ask you to dismiss so that your child can participate in a special time that their teacher has planned for their students.
Please remember to have your student wear tennis shoes and bring a water bottle. Field Day shirts are coming home tonight so please check your student's backpack.
***As a result of switching to our indoor field day schedule, the demo night that was scheduled for tonightat 5:58 pm has been cancelled.
Thank you for all of your help in making this a fun filled day for our students! We truly appreciate your support!

Raymore-Peculiar Online Gradebook (TeacherEase) Parent Log-in Directions
Our goal as a school and district is to provide great communication about your child's on-going progress. We are excited to launch the parent portal access to "TeacherEase," our new online grade book. Inside, teachers track ongoing points of learning progress (scores) throughout the weeks of each semester. Each child's learning is a progression, and therefore it is natural for them to start with a 1 or 2 in some things and they will continue to learn and be reassessed until the end of the year. If you ever have any questions about your child's progress, including what you view in TeacherEase, we encourage you to contact your child's teacher. They are always helpful in clarifying more about your child's progress and goals in learning.
To log in to view your child’s scores:
1. Go to the following site (https://www.teacherease.com/common/login.aspx)
2. Enter your current SIS Parent Portal login and password. If you are unsure of your Parent Portal access, please go to the following link(https://sdm.sisk12.com/rp/) select the “parents” tab and enter your primary email address.
3. From there, you will be prompted to enter your password. If you are unsure of your password, simply click on “forgot your password” and your password will be emailed to you.
We have attached a link to a short video that will walk you through this process in TeacherEase.
Greetings From Our Principal!
Greetings, Raymore Tigers! Each day I have the privilege of serving you as the principal of our great school where approximately 600 wonderful EC-4th grade students learn and grow. With a team of nearly 75 amazing and talented staff, we daily live out our mission of preparing each child for a successful and meaningful life and strive to realize our vision of turning today's learners into tomorrow's leaders!
I've been in education for 17 years, primarily at the elementary level but spanning preschool through adult education. I have certifications in elementary and secondary administration, ESL, Spanish and teaching. A graduate of Mizzou (Go Tigers!), I am also an alumni of SEMO and Baker University. I love what I do, and can promise I will do whatever it takes to help your child learn and grow and to support their amazing teachers and staff as they help them reach their goals each and every day. I value our parents and patrons as priceless partners in our children's education. Together, what a wonderful learning community we are for our kids! Here's to making each day count.
Wishing you well,
Michelle Hofmann, Principal
